Inside Out Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training Program (YTT) is approved by the Yoga Alliance: a nationally accredited association dedicated to maintaining and promoting the integrity of yoga. This comprehensive course is designed specifically for those who wish to: teach yoga; deepen their own personal practice of yoga; and blend the yoga philosophies into their daily life. Our primary goal is to prepare teachers to instruct safe, empowering and compassionate yoga classes based on knowledge and practical application.
Inside Out Yoga is dedicated to providing a two-tiered approach to the teacher training program. Firstly, the student will be provided with the elementary foundations of the yoga practice with an emphasis on the stringent anatomy guidelines as outlined by the Yoga Alliance. Secondly, those fundamentals will be applied to guide our students to create their own, unique teaching style.
YTT Program Requirements
• Minimum 6 months of yoga experience/practice
• Commitment to the entire program; homework/reading (approx. 35-55 hours), class participation
• Develop your own yoga practice
• Purchase of required books (not included in tuition cost)
2020 Program Dates
Program Cost IOYTT tuition is $2600 plus purchase of required books. A $150 processing fee will hold your place in the training. $2500.00 Early Bird discount if paid in full by January 1, 2020. Half of the balance ($1150) is due not later than February 25. Inquire about alternative payment options. Submit an application to apply for IOY’s 200 hour Teacher Training Program with $150 processing fee (credited toward tuition) to reserve your space.

About our lead trainer:
Jody Reece: (200ERT, 500RYT, YACEP) began practicing yoga in 2000 and teaching yoga since 2005. Jody earned her 500 hour certification from The Lotus Pond; a Kripalu affiliated studio in Tampa. Jody has studied extensively with a wide variety of highly experienced and well-regarded yoga teachers.
Teaching yoga, and sharing the yogic practice with others is Jody’s full-time passion. Jody led her own YTT program in 2012. Jody has re-invented her YTT program to include her own expanded knowledge from her accumulative trainings and experience which includes:
In-depth exploration of the Asanas (Yoga poses)
Pranayama (Yogic Breathing)
Shavasana (Meditation and Relaxation techniques)
Methodology including demonstration, observation, full participation and hands on personalized instruction.
Yoga History with an analysis of the classic yoga texts through modern day yoga lineage.
Ayurveda (Yoga’s sister science, The knowledge of life)
Jody’s goal is to provide a solid foundation of the yogic principles and a firm comprehension of the yoga poses and anatomy to prepare yoga teachers to teach with confidence, skill and compassion in many different settings.
